Buenos Aires
Either side of Iguacu, we spent some time here with Eamon (Hannah's Brother) and his girlfriend Lucy in their lovely home in Palermo, Buenos Aires. The city has quite a European feel, not least in Palermo, with its hundreds of cafes and restaurants. We've spent quite a while sampling the Argentinian food and drink. We particularly like the steaks, empanadas (like a fried pasty) and the vast choice of ice cream on offer. There's also a great selection of museums, markets and even modern art (like the flower below!) to visit. We wandered over to La Boca, one of the poorer areas of BA but home to Boca Juniors football team and the colourful houses of the Caminito. We also saw some of the Argentinian gauchos in action at a fair on the outskirts of the city. It was a country fair, taking place once a week, with great food and the chance to see smartly dressed men on horseback galloping through the streets. It felt like a traditional argentinian experience, and was a fab night out. It has been great to have a base here and two fluent spanish speaking locals to show us the sights. A big thankyou to Eamon and Lucy! We leave on Wednesday for Patagonia, where glaciars and snow capped peaks await.

Hi guys!
I hope you aren't paying for those flights. I never pay when I fly. Just forge cheques. All you need are some blank cheques, some model aircraft complete with transfers and a bath full of water. Failing that send Gareth to the bank to take the cashier out for a steak dinner. Works like a dream in my experience.
Better go press my uniform.
Your inspriation,
Frank.
