Bye to Cumbria!

On Wednesday we left Cumbria to head over to Newcastle to catch up with our friends Paul and Heather. We had a great time and caught up on some sleep, and bought lots of essentials for the trip from the numerous outdoor shops around! The weather was unkind to us, raining nearly every day and allowing us few opportunities to break in our new walking shoes. Still, we managed a couple of walks, this photo was taken during one of them with our new digital camera. Off to Bolton on Friday, at which point it will be two weeks till D Day!
