Family and Friends

We wanted to post a few photos of the family and friends we have met or stayed with during our trip around the North Island in New Zealand.  Our first hosts were David (Hannah's cousin) and Jane, who gave us a bed, fab food and even an invitation to a Hawaii party:

Owen Woodhouse kindly looked after us during our stay in Auckland too.  He worked on Motor Torpedo Boats during the second world war with H's grandpa:

As we headed north we dropped in on Ron (colleague of H's from the RIPH).  Ron and his wife gave us yummy mocha coffees and shortbread biscuits to break up our journey north:

Our hosts in the Bay of Islands were Rosemary and Stan, who we'll remember fondly for Rosemary's lunch packs and Stan's breakfast eggs:

We also met Jonathan and Carly whilst in Auckland, and the four of us went to cheer on the British and Irish Lions whilst in Rotorua:
